Agape Blessed Foundation Trust marked International Child Rights Day on 20th November 2024 with a vibrant celebration at the Sultanpur Community Center. As part of the ‘Empowering the Young Minds’ project, the event aimed to raise awareness about child rights and celebrate the achievements of the children supported by the trust. The day commenced with heartfelt speeches by children, sharing their perspectives on the right to education, protection, participation, and survival, showcasing their understanding and aspirations.
The cultural segment of the program featured a compelling skit highlighting the value of education and the perils of child labor, a lively group dance expressing the joy of childhood, and powerful speeches that reflected the knowledge gained through mentoring sessions. Adding to the excitement, children were recognized for their participation and creativity in past activities, including kite-making, rakhi-making, and Sports Day, with gift hampers and certificates distributed to winners and participants.
